If You Have Experienced Violence

If you have experienced violence, know that you have options. If you are able:

Get to a safe place.
Reach out to someone you trust for support.
Seek medical attention at an Aultman emergency department. Even if you do not want to speak with police about the assault or do not think you have injuries, it is important to discuss your medical care options, safety planning and learn about the resources available to you.
If you have been sexually assaulted, consider avoiding changing your clothes, brushing your teeth or bathing until you are examined by a medical provider.
