Community Health Needs Assessment
Federal regulations require health care organizations to assess the needs of their communities and adopt implementation strategies to address identified health care needs. Per IRC section 501(r), a byproduct of the Affordable Care Act, a tax-exempt hospital must do the following to comply with tax-exempt requirements:
- Conduct a community health needs assessment every three years. Read the 2022 Aultman Health System Community Health Needs Assessment.
