Visitor Policies

The following policies are in place as part of Aultman's commitment to the safety and health of our patients, visitors and staff. Your compliance with these policies helps ensure provide a safe environment for everyone on our campuses. Thank you for your cooperation.

Visitation Hours

  • At Aultman Hospital, visitation is permitted 24/7.
  • At Aultman Alliance, visitation is permitted 24/7.
  • At Aultman Orrville, visitation is permitted 24/7.
  • At Aultman Woodlawn, visitation is permitted 24/7.
  • Akron Children's NICU at Aultman Hospital will follow Akron Children's Hospital's visitation policies. Please click here to learn more.

COVID-19 Restrictions

In an abundance of caution and to provide a greater degree of protection against the spread of COVID-19, Aultman has decided to put in place new visitor restrictions at all its locations until further notice.  Click here for more information about our COVID-19 restrictions. 

Smoking/Tobacco Policy

Aultman is a tobacco-free organization. This initiative demonstrates our ongoing commitment to healthy living. This policy prohibits any tobacco use on all Aultman Health System properties - including parking areas, sidewalks and several privately owned roads and vehicles. The use of cigarettes, cigars, pipes and smokeless tobacco is prohibited on Aultman property. 

Firearm Policy

In accordance with Ohio’s Concealed Carry Law, Aultman Health System prohibits any person from carrying a concealed weapon or other deadly weapon on our properties. Law enforcement officers on official business are exempt from this policy.
