Spiritual Care

2017 Aultman ChaplainsThe Aultman Spiritual Care team is available 24 hours a day to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of patients, families and caregivers of all faiths and denominations.

Our inter-faith chaplains Terry Livengood, Kathleen Krause, Joe Kampert and Michael Lemon journey with those in need by routinely visiting patients, answering referrals and responding to traumas and other situations on an as-needed basis. The Spiritual Care team assists with outreach ministries such as funerals and baptisms – and also provides a variety of additional services that meet the needs of our visitors, patients and community.

In addition to our Spiritual Care team, we rely on a dedicated group of volunteer chaplains to provide support to our patients and families.

Our Chapels

Aultman Hospital has two chapels located on our main campus – on the third floor and in the Aultman Heart Center (Bedford building). There is a third chapel located in the Compassionate Care Center (Aultman Woodlawn).

  • Weekly non-denominational prayers services offered in our third floor chapel and in our CCC chapel.
  • Clergy Breakfast lecture series.
  • Weekly rosary group at Aultman Woodlawn.
  • Prayer request boxes in all three chapels for patients, families and staff members to submit their prayer requests.
  • Assistance to area pastors in meeting the needs of parishioners.

If you are requesting a visit from one of our chaplains or have an urgent spiritual need, please contact us at 330-363-6402.
