Spiritual Care

The Aultman Spiritual Care team is available 24 hours a day to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of patients, families and caregivers of all faiths and denominations.

Our inter-faith chaplains Terry Livengood, Kathleen Krause, Joseph Kampert, Darrell Maze and Jamie Gump journey with those in need by routinely visiting patients, answering referrals and responding to traumas and other situations on an as-needed basis. The Spiritual Care team assists with outreach ministries such as funerals and baptisms – and also provides a variety of additional services that meet the needs of our visitors, patients and community.

Our Chapels

Aultman Hospital has two chapels located on our main campus – on the third floor and in the Aultman Heart Center (Bedford building). There is a third chapel located in the Compassionate Care Center (Aultman Woodlawn).

Meet Our Chaplains

  • Monthly Strength for the Journey webinars for employees (watch Aultman Today for details).
  • Clergy Breakfast lecture series.
  • Our eucharistic ministers offer Catholic communion at Aultman Hospital in Canton and at Aultman Woodlawn. This may be requested through our Spiritual Care Answering service at 330.363.6402.
  • Prayer request boxes in all three chapels for patients, families and staff members to submit their prayer requests.
  • Assistance to area pastors in meeting the needs of parishioners.

If you are requesting a visit from one of our chaplains or have an urgent spiritual need, please contact us at 330-363-6402.
