Honor Loved Ones During the 2022 Memory Tree Celebration
CANTON, Ohio (Nov. 14, 2022) – The Aultman Foundation is offering community members the chance to honor those they care for and remember those who are no longer here at this year’s “Light Up a Life Memory Tree” ceremony. The 16th annual event will be held virtually this year at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13, via Zoom.
Families, friends and local businesses are invited to sponsor a light in memory or in honor of a loved one with a $25 contribution. Tribute wreath sponsorships are also available for a $250 donation.
The names of those sponsored with a light and/or wreath will be prominently displayed in Aultman’s Bedford lobby, Aultman Alliance Community Hospital and the Compassionate Care Center lobby throughout the holiday season. Sponsors may choose whether they would like their tribute wreaths displayed in the Aultman Hospital or Aultman Alliance lobby. They will also be highlighted during Aultman’s virtual Memory Tree ceremony and on Aultman’s social media platforms.
Proceeds from this event will benefit all Aultman hospice patients and grief support programs. Sponsorships will be accepted through Monday, Dec. 5. Those who make a donation will receive the invitation to attend the Zoom program and watch with family and friends. For more information or to contribute to the event, please visit www.aultmanfoundation.org or call 330-363-4908.
About The Aultman Foundation
The Aultman Foundation was established by the Aultman Health Foundation in May 2007 to raise and administer funds to support and promote health education and wellness outreach to improve the health of the community. The mission is achieved through targeted grant funding to area nonprofit organizations and the acceptance of charitable gifts to the foundation and hospital. Grant dollars are budgeted annually to support the work of nonprofit organizations that lead the community to improved health, while charitable gifts to The Aultman Foundation are directed for use by charitable donors to patient-centered services that support the continuum of care of individuals, families and the community. Since its inception, The Aultman Foundation has distributed $2.2 million in grants.
