Aultman College Helps Students with Second Chance Grant
CANTON, Ohio (June 10, 2022) – For college students who stopped pursuing their associate or bachelor’s degrees as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, a new option available at Aultman College may help reignite their career ambitions.
The Second Change Grant Pilot Program from the The Ohio Department of Education provides qualifying students with a $2,000 grant to re-enroll in associate or bachelor’s degree programs if these students ceased their studies due to costs during the pandemic. Aultman College is participating in this program to help students finish their degree.
“Not a week goes by that we’re not talking to someone whose educational goals were disrupted by the pandemic,” said Lauren Bausch, Aultman College recruiter. “This grant is a financial lifeline to many who want to get back into the classroom and complete their degree. It’s exciting to share the news that they could be eligible for a $2,000 grant to return to college.”
For more information about Aultman College and qualifying for the Second Chance Grant, email recruiter@aultmancollege.edu. The deadline to apply for fall semester at Aultman College is Aug. 1.
