Announcing the 2025 Vicki Haines Legacy Award
CANTON, Ohio (Jan. 29, 2026) – Roger Bettis, president of Green Lines Transportation LLC, has been named the recipient of the 2025 Vicki Haines Legacy Award. The annual award recognizes a nonprofit organization or individual whose work has enhanced the lives of others, brought the community together and demonstrated excellence in service and leadership – values modeled by Vicki Haines, founder and former senior vice president of The Aultman Foundation (TAF).
Bettis has a long history of philanthropy. For 41 years, Bettis has hosted a charity golf outing that supports patient care and services in our community at the Aultman Cancer Center.
In addition to his fundraising efforts, Bettis has served as a board member for Aultman Health System since 2019, contributing leadership and strategic guidance in support of Aultman’s mission. He is also an attendee and donor of the Angel Auction, held annually by the Women’s Board of Aultman Hospital.
“Roger’s dedication to Aultman and to our community spans decades and reflects a genuine passion for helping others,” said Eric Belden, TAF vice president of development. “His leadership, generosity and belief in teamwork have made a lasting difference for our patients and families, and we are deeply grateful for his continued support.”
About The Aultman Foundation
The Aultman Foundation was established by the Aultman Health Foundation in May 2007 to raise and administer funds to support and promote health education and wellness outreach to improve the health of the community. The mission is achieved through targeted grant funding to area nonprofit organizations and the acceptance of charitable gifts to the foundation and hospital. Grant dollars are budgeted annually to support the work of nonprofit organizations that lead our community to improved health, while charitable gifts to TAF are directed for use by generous donors to patient-centered services that support the continuum of care of individuals, families and our community. Since inception, the foundation has distributed $2.3 million in grants.
