CANTON, Ohio (Jan. 4, 2022) – Join the Aultman Women’s Board for the 2022 Angel Auction, “Charms of Charleston.” Stark County’s premier charitable auction and event will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the Canton Memorial Civic Center.

All proceeds from the annual gala will benefit the current Women’s Board’s pledge to raise $4.2 million over the next five years to improve patient care and experience. The first initiative is the main hospital lobby with consolidated renovation. The second project is the specialized mobility program to get patients out of bed sooner and safely.

Aimee Belden and Cathie Belden are leading the efforts for the event this year as auction co-chairs.

Aimee Belden has been involved with the Aultman Women’s Board for a decade and is the executive vice president and chief operating officer at Schauer Group Inc. She also is the vice chair of CommQuest Services Inc. and is a trustee on the YMCA Board of Trustees. She lives in Jackson with her husband and two children.

Cathie Belden has been a member of the Women’s Board for seven years and is the senior manager of revenue growth management at Sanofi Consumer Healthcare. She also serves as the advisory board treasurer for St. Michael School and is a board of trustees member for the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges. Cathie Belden lives in Canton with her husband and three children.

The annual Angel Auction will return to an in-person format this year. The gala will feature a plated dinner and live entertainment with dancing to conclude the evening. In addition, hundreds of exclusive silent auction items will be available for bidding online prior to the event.
