I was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona (big fan of the Sedona red rocks). I’m a first generation American; my parents are from Slovakia and the majority of my family are spread across Europe. I met my fiance, Seth, during medical school. He is an Ohio native and matched here at Aultman Hospital in radiology, which is what initially interested me in Aultman Hospital.

The Aultman Family Medicine residency program is an ideal place to train. Each faculty member is approachable, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in you as not only a resident but aslo as a person. Each attending has their own particular interests and background whether it be in law, obstetrics, addiction, medicine, etc., so you really do become a well-rounded physician by training here at Aultman. The residents are incredibly welcoming and happy to show you the ropes! I wouldn’t have rather trained anywhere else after being a resident here at Aultman.

My passions outside of medicine include traveling within the U.S. and abroad, reading nonmedical literature in my free time (my first job was at Barnes & Noble, so that tells you everything), trying different cuisines and restaurants (Vietnamese, Thai and Indian are some of my favorite types of cuisine), having movie nights with my fiance and our cats, going on scenic walks (I love being outdoors when the weather is nice), gardening (currently working on a sunflower field in our backyard), and letting off some steam at Dave & Buster’s!
