Thank you for your interest in the Aultman Family Medicine Residency program. We are an Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)-accredited program with a vision to deliver exceptional healthcare through education, collaboration and respect. Our family medicine residency program has been graduating physicians since 1975. With an emphasis on medical knowledge, the Aultman program has the highest five-year average board scores in Northeast Ohio!

The Aultman family medicine residency curriculum balances strong inpatient service with outstanding care in our outpatient practice. Residents provide care in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), conveniently located next to the hospital. Our faculty and community preceptors are dedicated to teaching.

Aultman family medicine residents participate in research and quality improvement projects. We also teach point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), dermoscopy and outpatient procedural skills.

Aultman is a 1,032-bed hospital system serving Stark and surrounding counties. We have achieved national recognition for our outstanding clinical care. We are part of a large medical education department with six residencies and two fellowship programs.
