I was born and raised in India for the first seven years of my life and then spent the next 19 years in Brantford, Ontario. Now, I’m excited to call Canton, Ohio, home for at least the next three years!

I graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, with an honors Bachelor of Science in life sciences. My journey toward medicine continued at Saba University School of Medicine, where I learned to be adaptable and resilient, especially while navigating medical school during the COVID-19 pandemic.

I had a great experience at Aultman Hospital as a fourth-year medical student, when I did a clerkship with the Family Medicine Residency Program. I was instantly enamored of the program’s culture and its patient-centered and holistic approach to healthcare. I was grateful to the faculty and residents for providing such a nurturing environment for me to develop the knowledge and skills needed to become a competent physician.

Now as a resident of that very program, I greatly look forward to the many learning opportunities and challenges that lie ahead, and I’m dedicated to upholding the values that are so integral to this esteemed residency program. Outside of medicine, I am an avid cricket fan, I love being in nature, and I have taken up filmmaking and video editing as hobbies.
