I was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, where I lived until 2010. My family then moved to Houston, Texas, which has now been home for the past 15 years. I completed my undergraduate degree in cytogenetic technology and had the incredible opportunity to work at MD Anderson Cancer Center as a cytogenetic technologist. My time there deepened my love for science and patient care and ultimately pushed me to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a physician.

I attended medical school at St. George’s University and completed my clinical rotations in Miami and Baltimore. During my clinical rotations, I was drawn to family medicine because of the intricate interplay between different systems of the body and the diagnostic challenge of uncovering underlying conditions. I feel as though family medicine physicians have more of an opportunity to form lasting relationships with patients, be their trusted advocate and provide comprehensive care that encompasses their overall well-being.

Aultman became the clear choice during my interviews with the faculty and residents. The faculty's passion for teaching was evident, and the residents’ testimonials of faculty support fully convinced me that this was the close-knit, supportive environment I was looking for in a residency program. In my free time I enjoy working on cars in my garage or going on camping trips and hikes with my wife. My goal is to visit every national park in the United States and collect all the stamps for my national park passport.
