I was born and raised in Nigeria. My future of moving cities and condensing my life into two suitcases began when my family moved cities three times due to my father's job. My favorite city is Jos, the capital of Plateau State, which has the best sunsets and cooler weather than most of northern Nigeria. During a family vacation to South Africa when I was 12 years old, I saw a huge hospital that inspired me to become a doctor and provide that level of care someday in Jos.

Through my undergraduate experiences at University of South Florida, Tampa, I discovered my passion for improving patient-physician interactions. I graduated from St. George’s University, Grenada, where I received the most stamps on my passport. I am grateful for the clinical experiences I had in Grenada, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The people I worked with, the communities I lived in and the skills I gained supported my desire to become a family medicine physician who served her community as a one-stop shop of care, resources and healing. I chose Aultman Family Medicine Residency because my values aligned with theirs. The colleagues I met are enthusiastic, the faculty are excellent and desire my success in medicine, and Canton proves to be a good city.

When I do get spare time, I am either learning a recipe from a new country, or I am engaged in skin care and hair care research. I love Jesus and love meeting people He brings my way. I am neither athletic nor adventurous, but I am a great companion. Life has its ups and downs, but the God who sees and loves me has given me grace to make it a treasure!
