I was born and raised on a small dairy farm in Wellandport, Ontario, and have loved the country life ever since. Being raised in the Niagara community and going to Heritage Christian School was a huge blessing. I furthered my schooling and pre-med experience by attending Brock University, where I finished off by playing a year of varsity volleyball for the Brock Badgers. This experience drew me to love competition and sports medicine even more. After this, I attended Saba University School of Medicine and completed my clerkships in many different states with many different specialties. I chose family medicine as my path, as it allows me to experience every type of medical encounter and gives me a wide range of options for when I practice on my own in the future. I have an interest in sports medicine, emergency medicine and obstetrics. Aultman seemed an excellent choice for residency, as it is a quick drive home to Canada, and many friends and fellow Saba graduates also completed their training here. With super friendly and helpful staff, I am really looking forward to my next three years as a family medicine resident at Aultman. Outside of medicine, you can find me competing in any sport out there whenever time allows.
