I grew up in Niagara Falls, Ontario, in a close-knit Filipino community. My parents immigrated from the Philippines and instilled in me the values of hard work, perseverance and education. These values inspired me to pursue medicine and sparked my passion for primary care.

From a young age, I wanted to become a physician patients could rely on for guidance, support and compassionate, lifelong care. My goal is to help improve my patients' quality of life while building meaningful, lasting relationships with them.

I completed my bachelor’s degree in health sciences at Western University before attending Saba University School of Medicine. I traveled throughout the United States for my clinical rotations, and without a doubt, my favorite rotation was Family Medicine here at Aultman.

I knew within the first week that this was where I wanted to complete my residency. The attendings, residents and staff were incredibly welcoming, supportive and passionate about teaching. The positive learning environment made it easy to ask questions, learn and grow.

I'm not much of an athlete, but I like to joke that shopping is my cardio. In my free time, you'll usually find me wandering the aisles of TJ Maxx or Marshalls, checking out new restaurants or spending time at home cuddling my dog.
