I was born in Kingston, Jamaica, before being raised in Mississauga, Canada. I completed my undergraduate studies at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, where my passion for medicine and serving others continued to grow.

As a family medicine resident, I value the opportunity to build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients, listening to their stories and partnering with them to achieve their health goals.

During my undergraduate studies, I was actively involved in my community through food drives, volunteering at food banks and serving meals to people experiencing homelessness. These experiences – along with seeing the challenges my family in Jamaica continues to face in accessing healthcare – inspire me to pursue family medicine and advocate for equitable care.

After the first day of my family medicine elective at Aultman Hospital, I knew it was where I wanted to complete my residency. I immediately felt the warmth, kindness and welcoming culture that define the program. The respect shown to every patient, learner and team member reflects the values I believe are at the heart of medicine.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy reading, cooking and watching sports (soccer, tennis, and basketball). I come from a large family and enjoy spending quality time with them and my pug, Buster Baxter.
