My name is Himani Naik. I was born and raised in the heart of Mumbai, India. Mumbai was a medley of cultures where every neighborhood told its own story, and these stories have uniquely carved my path toward a career in family medicine. I am a graduate of Ross University School of Medicine. After medical school, I worked in academic medicine as a clinicals skills facilitator while applying for the match. I am deeply passionate about teaching because it allows me to learn and grow while sharing knowledge with others continuously.

Choosing Aultman was a no-brainer for my husband (whom I couples matched with) and me. The faculty’s enthusiasm for teaching was a huge draw, the training is top-notch, the team is brilliant, and the camaraderie is unparalleled. Post-residency, I wish to practice as a full-spectrum family physician.

One of my favorite hobbies is taste-testing my husband's culinary creations. He cooks, and I provide enthusiastic reviews – it's a delicious arrangement! Whether he's experimenting with my Indian food demands or introducing me to other delicacies, I'm always ready with a fork and a smile.

In my spare time, I excel at four things: binge-watching Hindi stand-up comedy, perfecting the art of sleeping through every alarm imaginable, predicting who will win reality TV competitions that I religiously follow every weekend and walking with my pet tortoise – because when it comes to setting a leisurely pace, she’s the Usain Bolt of slow!
