I was born and raised in Etobicoke, Canada, and have lived there for the majority of my life. I did my undergraduate education at the University of Toronto in mechanical engineering and worked as an aircraft propulsion engineer and solar racking designer before pursuing medical school.
I attended Saba University School of Medicine, and COVID-19 broke out during my second semester. I decided to stay on the island, which was a very surreal experience. My medical school rotations took me all over the eastern United States, from New York to New Orleans. My last rotation of medical school was at Aultman Hospital, and I really enjoyed the supportive environment and friendly staff. I chose family medicine for the opportunity to practice full-spectrum medicine and to give back to the community. My hobbies include movies, video games and golf.
