I was born here at Aultman Hospital and raised in Canton, Ohio. Growing up, I loved math and science and thought I wanted to be an engineer, but I eventually decided my career would be more fulfilling if it was more people-centered and spent helping others. That led me to Kent State, where I got my undergraduate degree in psychology, then to Ohio University for medical school. I always thought that family medicine was a good fit, and every clinical rotation in medical school reaffirmed to me that this is where I belong. I found along the way that I enjoy helping underserved populations that need primary care the most, which made Aultman’s program great for me. I get the challenge and privilege of serving the very community that raised me, and I can do that through a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that delivers healthcare to those with complex problems, who may not get the care they need otherwise. Having the opportunity to complete residency in my hometown is truly a dream come true. In my free time I love to play golf, cook for my family and friends, kayak, fish and watch sports. Go Browns!
