I was born and raised in Stow. I have always loved Northeast Ohio, so I completed my undergraduate training at Kent State University. I had to leave the area to attend medical school at Ohio University Heritage College of Medicine, but I came back as soon as I could. Even before entering medical school, I was interested in family medicine because I believe it is the only specialty where you can help a patient with many aspects of their health and life, across their lifetime. I was drawn to Aultman Hospital first because it’s so close to home. During my interview I was so impressed by the atmosphere of teamwork and how supportive the faculty are. In my free time you will almost certainly find me working on a craft project while watching a movie.
