Recipe: Copycat Chipotle Guacamole

Jam-packed with heathy fats, fiber and other essential nutrients, avocados are a great choice for meeting overall wellness goals. Here’s a fresh and tangy guacamole recipe to savor in any season.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 medium ripe avocados
  • 1 medium jalapeño pepper, finely chopped (or green pepper if you don't love spice)
  • ¼ cup finely chopped red or white onion
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • ½ teaspoon salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Mash avocados in a medium bowl with a fork. Add jalapeño, onion, cilantro, lime juice, garlic and salt and stir until combined.

Makes 8 servings.
