CANTON, Ohio (Oct. 17, 2023) – East Coast Martial Arts recently raised $10,000 to benefit Aultman Cancer Center dietitian services during its annual cancer awareness seminar, Submit Cancer. This is the highest amount yet raised by the annual fundraiser.

Through the support of local business sponsors, academy members and attendees, the seminar is held to honor the founder of East Coast, Steven D. Hindman, who passed away from cancer in January 2015.

The oncology dietitian services at Aultman Cancer Center help patients and their caregivers to develop a plan for optimal nutrition. Creating a proper nutrition plan helps patients to maintain their health during treatment, manage treatment side effects and achieve positive outcomes through appropriate nutrition practices.
