CANTON, Ohio (May 24, 2017) – The Aultman Medical Education and Education Development departments present a summer program designed for students who are interested in health care careers.

The 10th-annual Summer Symposium is open to college students, 2017 high school graduates and high school students who will be seniors in fall of 2017. The symposium will be held Thursday, June 22, from 7:45 a.m. – 5 p.m. in the Aultman Education Center Amphitheater.

Presenters will include doctors, nurses and Aultman administrators, who will share insight on the challenges and opportunities of working in health care. The health care career fair portion of the day will feature dozens of Aultman services and departments. In addition to the symposium, the shadowing of doctors, nurses and other health care professionals is available in July 2017.

The summer program is free to participants and supported in part by a grant from the Canton Regional Area Health Education Center (AHEC).
