March Madness Walk Planned for March 16
ORRVILLE, Ohio (March 4, 2024) – The Growing Healthy Habits Coalition is holding its 20th annual Winter Wellness Walk themed “March Madness" on Saturday, March 16, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. This free event is open to community members of all ages to celebrate healthy outdoor activities.
Participants can arrive anytime during the event to register at the Heartland Trail trailhead at the corner of W. Market and Depot streets near the Railroad Heritage Depot. Maps will be provided to follow the two-mile route, which takes walkers toward Main Street and back to the depot. New to the walk route this year will be businesses sharing healthy tips, valuable information and giveaway items.
Registered walkers can shoot hoops for fun and have a chance to win giveaways and prizes, including two Cleveland Cavaliers tickets and a $25 gift card to Dick’s Sporting Goods.
The health, wellness and safety of participants are a top priority for this self-paced walk. In case of inclement weather, the walk will be rescheduled for March 23. For more information and updates, visit the Growing Healthy Habits website at www.aultmanorrville.org/healthwellness/community-programs/growing-healthy-habits.
