Aultman to Offer Free Walk-up Mobile Vaccine Clinics for First and Second-Dose Vaccinations Throughout Canton
CANTON, Ohio (June 3, 2021) – Aultman is continuing to help distribute more COVID-19 vaccines and provide easy access for the community by holding mobile vaccine clinics from June 4 – 12 in Canton. All community members who are 16 and older are eligible to receive the free vaccine, and no registration is required.
In partnership with the Stark Metropolitan Housing Authority’s Summer Lunch Program, Aultman will offer vaccine clinics on:
- Friday, June 4, at Ellisdale Homes from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Ellisdale Homes is located at 3809 31st St. NE in Canton, Ohio, 44705.
- Monday, June 7, at Jackson Sherrick Homes from 11 a.m. – noon. Jackson Sherrick Homes is located at 1315 Gonder Ave. SE in Canton, Ohio, 44707.
- Tuesday, June 8, at Linwood Acres from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Linwood Acres is located at 3331 14th St. SW in Canton, Ohio, 44710.
Aultman will also offer second-dose vaccine clinics, with unvaccinated people having the option to receive the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine as well, on:
- Monday, June 7, at Union Baptist Church from 1 – 3 p.m. The church is located at 413 Cornelia Ave. NE in Canton, Ohio, 44704.
- Tuesday, June 8, at Mt. Zion Church of God from 1 – 3 p.m. The church is located at 1208 Sherrick Road SE in Canton, Ohio, 44707.
- Wednesday, June 9, at Peoples Baptist Church from 1 – 3 p.m. The church is located at 701 17th St. SE in Canton, Ohio, 44707.
Finally, Aultman will open the following new vaccine clinics:
- Wednesday, June 9, at Benedict Parish from 4 – 6 p.m. Benedict Parish is located at 2207 Third St. SE in Canton, Ohio, 44707.
- Thursday, June 10, at Stark Metropolitan Housing Authority (SMHA) from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. SMHA is located at 400 Tuscarawas St. E in Canton, Ohio, 44702.
- Thursday, June 10, at First United Methodist Church from 1 – 3 p.m. The church is located at 301 Lincoln Way E in Massillon, Ohio, 44646.
- Saturday, June 12, at Just in Time (JIT) Food Ministry from 9 a.m. – noon. JIT Food Ministry is located at 2300 Cleveland Ave. NW in Canton, Ohio, 44709.
Members of the community who have not yet been vaccinated and would like to receive the vaccine can simply visit one of these locations during the designated times.
