CANTON, Ohio (Feb. 25, 2022) – The Aultman College Board of Directors voted unanimously this week to freeze tuition for the 2022-23 academic year.

President Jean Paddock said the decision to not increase cost to students was an easy one considering the healthcare shortage in the community. “We understand our mission as a healthcare-focused institution is to prepare professionals who lead our community to improved health,” said Dr. Paddock. “Our students are determined to pursue a career in the healthcare field, putting themselves on the front lines to help others. In recognition of the importance of this pursuit, we feel it is our duty to adjust on our administrative side to hold tuition for the upcoming academic year.”

The tuition freeze is the latest in a series of college actions to assist students interested in the healthcare field. Aultman College recently announced that students can be admitted into the bachelor of science in nursing program without having to take standardized testing. In November 2021, Nursingschoolalmanac.com recognized Aultman College as one of the highest-ranked programs in the Akron-Canton region.

Aultman College is accepting applications for fall semester until Aug. 1, with direct entry seats available in nursing, social work, medical assisting and health sciences.
