Aultman to Transition Louisville and Massillon Urgent Care Locations to Make Way for Updated, More Convenient AultmanNow Urgent Cares

CANTON, Ohio (Aug. 24, 2020) – In late August and early September, Aultman will close its urgent care locations in Louisville and Massillon to make way for sleek, convenient AultmanNow Urgent Care facilities.

Effective Aug. 29, Aultman Alliance Community Hospital Family Care Urgent Care, located at 506 W. Main St. in Louisville, will close temporarily for renovations. The facility will reopen this fall as a new AultmanNow Urgent Care.

Effective Sept. 1, the AultmanNow Urgent Care in Massillon, located at 2606 Wales Road, will close permanently while Aultman seeks out a new location in the surrounding area.

“AultmanNow Urgent Cares are designed to make care faster and more convenient for our patients, especially in situations that don’t rise to an emergency department visit but can’t wait for a doctor’s appointment,” said Chris Parrish, senior vice president, Aultman Health Foundation. “We’re looking forward to offering this type of service to the Louisville and Massillon communities in the future, and patients will continue to have the option to use the AultmanNow app on their mobile devices 24/7 to have a visit with a provider from the comfort of their homes.”

The updated AultmanNow Urgent Care in Louisville will join existing locations at the Aultman North campus (6100 Whipple Ave.) and Washington Square (2203 East Maple St.). Open daily from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., AultmanNow Urgent Cares are able to treat a wide variety of health concerns such as minor cuts and injuries requiring stitches, upper respiratory infections, flus, fevers, sore throats, fractures of small bones like fingers or toes, skin rashes and infections, eye and ear infections, nosebleeds, sprains, strains and minor sports injuries. They also offer sports and work physicals for minors.
