Spiritual Care

The Aultman Health System Spiritual Care Team is here to help meet the emotional and spiritual needs of patients, families, caregivers and staff of any faith tradition and those without a faith tradition.
Aultman staff chaplains:
-
Visit patients upon request, respond to traumas and provide emotional and spiritual support in times of need.
-
Assist with baptisms, funerals and other ceremonies for those who have received care from staff chaplains while at Aultman.
-
Help area clergy in meeting the needs of those in their faith community who are in the hospital. See our Information and Resources page if you would like to apply for a clergy visitor badge.
A chaplain is on call on nights and weekends for emergency and critical needs only. Talk to Aultman staff to request a visit from an on-call chaplain.
