Compassionate Care Center

The Aultman Women's Board Compassionate Care Center is Stark County's first inpatient hospice center. It is located on the Aultman Woodlawn campus at 2821 Woodlawn Ave. NW in Canton and can be reached by calling 330-479-7450.

About the Center

CCC

The 23,000-square-foot facility features a 12-bed inpatient hospice to provide end-of-life care in a comfortable, peaceful environment with many amenities of home. Each patient’s private room is large enough to accommodate several visitors and features an eating area, sleeper sofa and private patio.

In addition to inpatient hospice care, expanded Aultman Grief Services resources include a resource library, individual counseling rooms, support group meeting rooms and children’s programming with an outdoor activity area.

Inpatient Hospice Advantages

The benefits of inpatient hospice care include:

  • Patient- and family-focused care with access to hospice social work services, pastoral care, volunteer, grief and bereavement services.
  • 24-hour visitation policy for family, friends, children and pets (or pet visitation allowed by appointment and with appropriate documentation).
  • Short-term, intensive pain and symptom management.
  • An environment where patient and families feel peaceful and can focus on their relationships.

Donating to the Aultman Women's Board Compassionate Care Center

Community donations of all sizes are welcome. A paver tribute program offers a brick with a three-lined message for $100. Major contributions are being sought for naming rooms, gardens, benches, a children’s play area and more. Click here to donate online (and select Hospice Program in the drop-down menu) - or call The Aultman Foundation at 330-363-2366.
