The Aultman Specialized Heart & Valve Center
Aultman’s Specialized Heart & Valve Center offers an array of services to our community members dealing with difficult cardiac issues. The multidisciplinary team provides a comprehensive structural heart disease program, offering diagnosis and treatment options for a full spectrum of conditions while focusing on the unique needs of each patient.
Structural heart disease is a new and exciting field in cardiovascular medicine. It involves catheter-based treatment of heart conditions that were formerly treatable only by open-heart surgery. This is especially important because not all patients, even those with the same heart conditions, are good candidates for the same procedures.
