Aultman Hospital offers pulmonary rehabilitation (rehab) to help patients with lung disease feel better and improve their quality of life. Our program provides exercises and education to help you learn ways to go about your daily activities with less shortness of breath and fatigue.

Pulmonary rehab can improve the quality of life for people who have experienced:

• Diseases of the lungs, such as emphysema, COPD or chronic bronchitis
• Lobectomy, pneumonectomy (lung removal) or lung transplant
• Ongoing respiratory issues arising from a COVID-19 infection

The pulmonary rehab program offers a weekly education session and exercise classes twice a week. The Adult Wellness program offers continued support and structure to maintain healthy habits and physical fitness.

Enrollment in Aultman Pulmonary Rehab is by physician referral, which can be sent to any of our locations. You may need to have a pulmonary function test to qualify for the program.
