The DAISY Award LogoThe DAISY Award® for Extraordinary Nurses

The DAISY® award is an international, ongoing recognition program for nurses who demonstrate extraordinary, compassionate care.

Designed to honor RNs, LPNs and APNs, award nominations come mostly from patients and families, but can also come from colleagues, physicians and other staff. Every nomination tells a story and highlights the exemplary care provided to our patients. We are excited to host this new recognition program. Your Quality & Satisfaction

Your satisfaction is important to us here at Aultman. In addition to our commitment to provide excellent care, we are also committed to providing you excellent service. We want to ensure you are completely satisfied with the quality of your care.

To measure patient satisfaction, we use a survey called the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS). It was created by The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services as a standardized data collection method to measure patients’ perspectives on hospital care. Patients responding to the HCAHPS survey rate everything from communication with the medical staff to facility cleanliness and quietness to overall satisfaction with the hospital.

It helps consumers make “apples-to-apples” comparisons about health care facilities. Public reporting of the survey results is designed to create incentives for hospitals to continuously improve the quality of care they provide.
