For those who enjoy bringing a bit more nature into their world, join Generations, 2 Gals and a Bus (Ann and Joanne – minus the bus) and a naturalist, as we take a gentle hike into the great outdoors. This is not an aerobic hike, it is a “stop, look and listen” as we encounter all the things nature has to offer. Of course, we will relax with good food and drink when we are done, and as always, we will throw in some surprises along the way! Quail Hollow State Park (Hartville, OH)

Thanks to the effects of glaciation, which occurred over 12,000 years ago, Quail Hollow is a landscape of rolling meadows, marshes, pine and deciduous woods. This habitat diversity allows for an abundance of plant and wildlife populations. After the walking hike, participants will drive to Lake Varsity Diner for lunch. The all-inclusive price is $40. Reservations are due by Sept. 17.
