Curriculum
The curriculum of the Aultman Alliance Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Program encompasses all required off-service rotations with an early integration into Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. We continue to adapt and augment our training to improve the education of our residents based on feedback and ambitions.
We participate in weekly academics as well as monthly journal clubs and cadaver labs. Our residents graduate with well over the minimum requirement of 300 surgical cases. Residents receive specific training in billing and coding as well as practice management. Residents are also offered training and opportunities for research projects.
The basic curriculum is outlined below. Multiple weeks in the year are dedicated to continuing education such as conferences and studying for boards.
