All job offers are contingent upon satisfactory completion of a Graduate Medical Education medical/physical examination which includes color vision screening and screening for drugs. Aultman Health Foundation will assume the costs of the color/vision examination, which must be performed by an approved physician/physician assistant/nurse practitioner who is familiar with the demands of the particular position. The provider must also certify whether the applicant is capable of performing his or her specific responsibilities. In a case of an applicant with a disability, the applicant may voluntarily request considerations for reasonable accommodations. All pre-employment testing results will be kept confidential as required by federal and state law.

The Graduate Medical Education examination includes, but may not be limited to, the following:

• Tuberculosis blood test completed within six months
• Rubella, rubeola, varicella and hepatitis B antibody
• Oral swab drug screen for substance abuse

Preplacement examinations are scheduled and provided by Aultman Health Foundation at no cost to the job applicant.

The offer of employment will be revoked if the job applicant declines to undergo a pre-employment examination.
