I chose Aultman Hospital for residency because I wanted to train in a program that would challenge me surgically while also allowing me to care for patients in the community I call home. I was especially drawn to Aultman’s strong surgical training in reconstructive rearfoot and forefoot surgery, as well as the opportunity to learn from physicians who are invested in helping residents grow both professionally and personally. Being able to return home for residency and serve patients in the surrounding communities makes this experience especially meaningful to me.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our animals on our dairy farm. I love playing bass guitar with my church’s praise and worship team, being involved in my church community, spending time outdoors and working with animals. I also enjoy camping, hiking, traveling and spending time with family and friends. I am grateful to begin this next chapter at Aultman and look forward to growing as both a surgeon and a physician while serving the community that has always felt like home.
