Curriculum
Our curriculum includes rotations at Summa Health System Akron, Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron, Grant Medical Center, Kettering Health Network/Grandview Medical Center, and Ohio Specialty Surgical Suites LLC, in addition to the extensive training that you will receive at Aultman Hospital.

- 1 month Surgical Skills Boot Camp
- 2 months Trauma Surgery
- 2 months Vascular Surgery
- 1 month Emergency Medicine
- 1 month Spine Orthopaedic Surgery
- 1 month Sports Medicine
- 1 month Foot & Ankle Orthopaedic Surgery
- 3 months General Orthopaedic Surgery
During your first year, you will spend time at Summa Health System Akron and Ohio Specialty Surgical Suites LLC, in addition to Aultman Hospital.
- 2 months Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery
- 2 months Foot & Ankle Orthopaedic Surgery
- 2 months Hand/Upper Extremity Orthopaedic Surgery
- 2 months Spine Orthopaedic Surgery
- 2 months Trauma Surgery
- 2 months Sports Medicine
During your second year, you will spend time at Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron, Kettering Health Network/Grandview Medical Center and Ohio Specialty Surgical Suites LLC, in addition to Aultman Hospital.
- 2 months Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery
- 2 months Hand Orthopaedic Surgery
- 2 months Orthopaedic Oncology
- 2 months Orthopaedic Trauma
- 2 months Adult Reconstructive Surgery
- 2 months General Orthopaedic Surgery
During your third year, you will spend time at Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron, Kettering Health Network/Grandview Medical Center, Grant Medical Center, Summa Health System Akron and Ohio Specialty Surgical Suites LLC in addition to Aultman Hospital.
- 2 months Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery
- 4 months Orthopaedic Trauma
- 2 months Adult Reconstructive Surgery
- 2 months Shoulder & Elbow Orthopaedic Surgery
- 2 months Foot & Ankle Orthopaedic Surgery
During your fourth year, you will spend time at Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron, Grant Medical Center, Kettering Health Network/Grandview Medical Center and Ohio Specialty Surgical Suites LLC in addition to Aultman Hospital.
- 2 months Hand Orthopaedic Surgery
- 2 months General Orthopaedic Surgery
- 2 months Foot & Ankle Orthopaedic Surgery
- 2 months Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery
- 2 months Sports Medicine
- 2 months Adult Reconstruction Surgery
Your entire fifth year will be spent in-house at Aultman Hospital and Ohio Specialty Surgical Suites LLC.
