Nicole graduated from Purdue University West Lafayette, Indiana, with a Bachelor of Science in genetics and biotechnology. She also served as captain of the Purdue Dance Team. Nicole pursued a master's in medical physiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, where she discovered a passion for rock climbing. Following her global travels and rock-climbing adventures across the U.S., she taught anatomy and physiology at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin, before continuing her education at MU-COM in Indianapolis. At MU-COM, Nicole completed a significant training stint in orthopedic trauma research at the University of Colorado between her third and fourth years of medical school.

In her downtime, Nicole enjoys a range of outdoor activities including golfing, rock climbing, traveling and kayaking. When she’s not exploring the outdoors, she cherishes time with her family and dog, indulges in reading, experiments with cooking and enjoys films by Wes Anderson and Tim Burton.
