All of our medical student rotations at Aultman Hospital are coordinated through the office of Medical Education.

Submit Request

If you are interested in setting up a core or elective rotation, send your request to diane.little@aultman.com. Please be sure to include: 

• Your STEP 1/COMLEX 1 score report showing a first-time pass.
• The Elective Rotation Request Form outlining your professional goals.
• In the event that your primary selection is filled, you are advised to list alternative choices, along with the date of availability that you would like to complete the elective(s).

​Prerequisites

Once confirmed, students must provide the following items before a rotation can begin:

• Completed application, which will be sent once a rotation is confirmed. Applicants should return it by email.
• Letter of good standing and proof of malpractice insurance from your medical school.
• Completion and documentation of all required immunizations.
• Background check.

Housing

In an attempt to make your stay more convenient, Aultman offers "dorm-style" housing for students on a first-come, first-served basis.

Aultman Hospital has set up a furnished four-bedroom house within walking distance of the hospital.  We also have a furnished three-bedroom house a few miles away that is an easy drive to the hospital.

At each house, individuals will have their own bedroom with internet hook-up. Students will share a kitchen, living room and bathroom. Also provided are appliances, including a washer and dryer. The rent on a weekly basis is $100. Information will be sent once a rotation is confirmed.
