Residency: Akron General Medical Center, Akron, Ohio
Board Certified: Obstetrics and Gynecology
Melissa Vassas, D.O., attended Ashland University and the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Akron General Medical Center in Akron, Ohio. Her passion is complex pelvic surgery and urogynecology. When she is not at Stark Women’s Center, she dedicates her time as ambulatory medicine director of the OB-GYN Resident Clinic at My Community Health Center. She is married to her favorite tennis player, RJ. She loves to spend her extra time with her three children, Caitlyn, Camille and Lucas.
