Born in Canton, Ohio, Dr. Yang Kar is a graduate of Jackson High School and a cum laude graduate of the Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Arts in zoology (major) and neuroscience (minor). She attended Northeastern Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) and received her Doctor of Medicine in 2014. Dr. Yang Kar received her OB-GYN residency training at Aultman Hospital. She enjoys spending time with her husband Ryan.
