I chose Aultman because it simply felt like home. Growing up in the South, I never expected to find a slice of Southern hospitality in Canton, Ohio, but the kindness of the residents and faculty made that feeling immediate. Everyone genuinely wants to see each other succeed, and it’s the type of environment where you feel supported both professionally and personally.
I knew I wanted a residency with high-acuity patients, abundant procedures and exceptional mentorship. Aultman offers all of that, and I’m grateful to train in a program that feels like family while preparing me to become the best emergency physician I can be.
