Bio:

I chose the Aultman Emergency Medicine Residency Program because I wanted to find a program where I would receive exceptional training to work in any setting. The variety within the patient population served by this hospital, its Level II Trauma designation and the autonomy given to residents in the emergency department yields a unique, well-rounded experience. Opportunities for hands-on and procedural training are unmatched here, and it’s evident that program faculty and attendings are dedicated to the residents’ education and success.

I like the culture we’ve cultivated within our program. We’ve created a close-knit, supportive environment that prioritizes the residents and our education. There is open communication among the residents and program leadership, and the program is constantly striving to improve based on resident feedback. The residents are offered many roles to become leaders within the program and shape the current and future structure of our education and rotations. The expectations for academic and clinical performance are high, but we maintain an incredible work-life balance as well. It truthfully is the people here and the relationships we’ve formed that make Aultman Emergency Medicine a unique place to train.
