When rotating through Aultman, it was easy to see the camaraderie between the residents, attendings and other staff. It truly felt like everyone was on the same team to provide the best care, make the most of learning opportunities and create the best overall experience possible (for patients and colleagues alike!).
The opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of patients and pathologies as well as the lack of competition between surgical residents is a major factor in why I chose Aultman's program. I am greatly looking forward to being challenged daily with the aim of being a better physician, community member and teammate.
