Evaluation Criteria

Pass with Commendation

Seven or more of 13 possible individual objective ratings are “exceeds expectations.”

Fail

Four or more of the 15 individual objective ratings are “below expectations.”

Pass

Student’s performance surpasses the criteria for a “Fail” but does not meet the criteria for “Pass with Commendation.”

Incomplete

A student does not complete a mandatory portion of the clerkship due to illness or excused absence.

Subject Examination
Failing Range: ≤ 60
Passing Range: 61-79
Pass with Commendation Range: ≥ 80
