Where do you live (city/area)?
I am originally from Canal Fulton and have lived in Orrville for the past 30 years. I previously lived in several different cities in Alabama and Georgia.

When did you begin volunteering at Aultman Health Foundation?
I have been a volunteer at this hospital since 2005.

In what departments do you volunteer at Aultman Orrville Hospital?
I have volunteered in ED, Endo and, currently, Registration.

How did you decide to be a volunteer?
I became very familiar with the hospital when I brought my dad in regularly for tests. I got to know everyone, we became friends, and I decided to be part of the team.

What do you like best about volunteering?
I feel like I’m being useful. I enjoy talking to people, and I have met many new friends.

What are some of your hobbies/interests outside of volunteering?
I enjoy playing cards and dominos, reading and crocheting.

Tell us about your loved ones.
I have a big family: 6 children, 17 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.

Tell us something interesting about yourself that many of your friends do not know.
I have done extensive traveling! I have visited every U.S. state, Australia, New Zealand and Germany.
