At Aultman, our volunteers are an integral part of our mission to lead our community to improved health. Without the tireless enthusiasm and unending support of our volunteers many of the essential functions of our hospital would go unattended.

For those who don’t know, Richard Nixon established National Volunteer week with an executive order in 1974 as a way to recognize and celebrate the efforts of volunteers. Though we like to think that we thank our volunteers every day, we want to take special time this week to thank the Aultman volunteers who lend their time, talent and support to our patients.

From the Happy Tails teams that bring our patients a little joy while they’re recuperating, to the teens who share their time during the summer, to the always cheerful lobby greeters, our volunteers are making a difference hospital-wide.
