Concussion Management
Head injuries affect patients of all ages, from a younger athlete who may have a sports-related injury to an elderly patient who lives alone. Our comprehensive concussion management and rehabilitation program is designed to help patients return to their prior level of physical and mental function as quickly and safely as possible. And, our team of physicians, physical therapists and athletic trainers are specially trained to treat sports and work-related concussions.
We provide a comprehensive patient evaluation including:
- Cervical examination
- Vestibular assessment
- Balance testing
- Cognition, concentration and memory testing
- ImPACT® testing, when appropriate and beyond based on individual needs
A tailored treatment plan is designed and led by a physical therapist or athletic trainer to help patients return to school, work and get back to regular activity.
