CANTON, Ohio (April 16, 2018) – The Angel Auction is a month away, but online shoppers can bid on a wide variety of auction items before the May 11 event.

From dining in the area to golf vacations around the country; from dazzling jewelry for her to autographed sports memorabilia for him, there is something for every savvy shopper. Bids can be placed by logging onto www.aultmanangelauction.org. Click on “Online Bidding” to view the hundreds of items and services available at the 2018 Angel Auction – Splendors of the Serengeti. Emcees for the evening will be Mike Gallina and David Baker, and the auctioneers will be Todd Pugh and George Kiko.

Some of the items up for bid are a Game of Thrones trip for two to Ireland, a VIP Angel Auction Experience for up to 10, four Ohio State University vs. Michigan football game tickets, a Taylor Swift concert experience for four, a Justin Timberlake concert experience for four, a Chanel basket and a Hall of Fame Ring Ceremony experience trip for two with David Baker, the hall’s president and CEO. These exciting items are available through the generous support of donors in the Stark County community and elsewhere.

Bidding continues through Friday, May 11, at 8:30 p.m. Online participants who place winning bids will be notified electronically after the main event. The secure site, powered through BidPal, takes the bidder’s credit card information, and the Women’s Board collects payment and arranges for shipment, which is at the buyer’s expense. Live auction items can be previewed through this same site and can only be bid on the night of the event.

In addition to bidding for items, visitors to the webpage can also purchase raffle tickets for two exciting prizes available this year – Something for Him and Something for Her! The first raffle package features a 10-piece Yeti package including Tundra 65 and Hopper Flip 12 coolers, Colsters, Tumblers and more, paired with the "Atlas Petite" handbag and "Finley" wristlet designed by Cleveland-based Fount Leather. The second raffle prize features a Simon G 18-karat white gold pavé diamond bracelet paired with a Samsung 65'' Smart 4k UHD television. Tickets for the raffle are $100 each and are limited to 125 for each package, also available for purchase through the secure site.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Aultman Women’s Board pledge of $900,000 for two important projects – integrating state-of-the-art infection control technology throughout Aultman Hospital and the modernization of the Aultman orthopaedic unit.
