Akron Children's Pediatric Inpatient Services

• Located on the 5th floor of Aultman Hospital. To reach us, call 330-363-5455.
• The 15-bed pediatric unit features private rooms large enough for one parent to spend the night and child-friendly décor. 
• Board-certified pediatric doctors called hospitalists care for the children, and child life specialists are on hand to help patients and families. 
• Akron Children’s family-centered care approach ensures patients and their families are essential members of the health care team. 
• Patients who need more critical care are transferred to Akron Children’s Hospital via a local ambulance or Akron Children’s Transport Services, which has four ambulances and a medical helicopter called AirBear®.
